The Partner MK4 is an ideal body camera for bailiffs and high court enforcement officers for a number of reasons. The Partner MK4 can be used out in the field for extended periods, is robust enough to withstand physical altercations and has excellent video and audio recording quality which makes its footage great for evidentiary purposes.
The core system contains two parts, The Partner MK4 Body Worn Camera and The Partner DEMS. The camera comes with a solo-dock but an additional 10-port dock is available for purchase for multi-camera sites. A wide range of accessories are also available for the MK4 depending on your requirements.
The Partner MK4 can be used as a high court enforcement officer camera with or without the DEMS. The DEMS streamlines the process and makes it easy to view, manage and unencrypt footage. If you do not want to buy a DEMS license, you do not have to. There is a free unencryption software that comes with the MK4 but can be somewhat time consuming to use if you need to view every video file.
It is strongly recommended that encryption be used as to is required to ensure that footage cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons as per GDPR requirements. If being GDPR compliant is not essential to your activities then you do not need to use encryption.
As a bailiff or enforcement agent, there are times when you might need to enter a property moving from daylight into a much darker environment. It is essential that any footage captured is able to not only deal with this transition but also continue to be viable once in the darker environment. The Partner MK4 uses a 4MP CMOS sensor to capture footage in low lux conditions. When the lux levels drop below a predetermined point, the infra-red lamps will automatically activate, allowing video to be captured in greyscale.
High quality audio is essential for any high court enforcement officer body camera. If what is being said is not captured, it can render the footage useless. The Partner MK4 uses advanced noise filtering technology to deliver crystal clear audio while minimising background sounds and interference.
The Partner MK4 body camera and associated accessories and software are designed to be a one-off fee. The camera and any additional hardware are bought outright and the DEMS software license is a single computer lifetime license. This means that you do not need to renew this license and can run as many cameras off of this instance of the DEMS as you wish. If you need to run two instances on separate computers then you will need a second license. Prices can be found on our shop page.
The Partner DEMS is not only password protected but also allows administrators to control access through permission levels which prevents unauthorised access. The DEMS software also has an Audit Log which records any actions undertaken in the system including viewing, deleting or exporting a file. This ensures that bailiffs and high court enforcement officers can be confident in the integrity of their video footage.
A local installation simply means that the software and video footage is all stored on a physical computer, normally on-site. This is in contrast to a cloud-based solution which is where the software and video footage is stored in a data centre. These two methods both have their own pros and cons. Local installs can only be accessed through the one computer but this means that it does not require network access or have an ongoing fee such as cloud storage charges.
This depends on how often you record footage. The extra-large battery life means that this certified enforcement agent body camera can stay in the field for a long time offering up to 100+ hours of standby. If you are regularly recording then you need to dock your camera more often. If you use pre-record or record very often, then it is worth docking every day, if not you can wait a few days before needing to charge/clear the camera.
The Partner MK4 body camera package includes a KlickFast compatible stud that slides on to the back of the MK4 and makes it compatible with any official KlickFast docks or equipment. This means that many certified enforcement agents or bailiffs can use The Partner MK4 with their existing uniform.
While there is no standard measure for robustness, the MK4 uses a rugged ABS outer casing to protect it while being tightly sealed. It does has an IP67 rating and has been drop tested to one metre and eighty centimetres and is designed to be used by the modern security officer, bailiff or high court enforcement officer and as such is naturally rugged.
