The Partner MK4 Body Camera strikes a balance between high-end body worn video technology and rugged, all condition device. It has all the key features needed for security body cams including night vision, pre-record, high level audio recording, a customisable watermark and more. It is also one of the only cameras on the market that can record 60FPS at 1080p. It is clearly labelled with audio/video recording and has GDPR compliant encryption.

The Partner MK4 is a one-off cost. There are no licensing fees or ongoing service charges, once you buy the camera, it is yours. The Partner DEMS likewise is not an ongoing fee and is a lifetime license for the PC that it is installed on.

Encryption is strongly recommended if you are a security company or security officer working for an established company. While there are still password protection layers to prevent unauthorized access to the camera’s footage, encryption is much stronger. The main reason for encryption is that under GDPR footage must be kept securely which means that if a camera is stolen, you might be in contradiction of the act. Encryption helps mitigate this.

The Partner DEMS while being a streamlined way to download and manage your files, is not essential if you are not using encryption. If you do not wish to buy a DEMS license, then you don’t have to but it will make using encryption more troublesome and you will not be able to automatically download footage and would instead need to do it manually.

A local installation is where is piece of software exists on a physical computer and not in the cloud. All footage and files will likewise be stored on that computer. While most body camera companies have moved away from locally installed DEMS systems, we have instead embraced it. As there is no cloud storage, The Partner DEMS does not have any ongoing storage or licensing costs.

Body Camera battery life depends largely on what settings are being used. Prerecord will burn the most as the camera will essentially be permanently on recording footage. Higher resolutions will eat battery life faster as will higher framerates. 60FPS at 1080p will burn battery at about the same speed as 1440p. Sensitivity of infrared also comes into play. Most security body cameras are used at 1080p at with pre-record which should give you around 8 hours of continuous recording.

Yes, The Partner MK4 comes with a KlickFast stud as standard meaning that you should be able to connect it to any existing security uniform or equipment that has a KlickFast dock straight out of the box.

It’s no secret that security officers can be a little rough and tumble with their equipment. Body cameras for security need to be highly ruggedised and as such when designing The Partner MK4, a lot of attention was paid to this facet. The Partner MK4 is completely self-contained with minimal points of egress and external weaknesses such as screens and articulated heads being removed. It is IP67 rated and drop tested to 1.8m.

This entirely depends on how often it is activated. If you have lots of incidents and record more footage than a normal security site, you may need to download it more often. Lower resolution footage will require less downloading. Alternatively, you can set the camera to looped mode and only download it when a major incident occurs. Looped mode will record over the oldest footage when storage capacity has been reached.

Absolutely, The Partner MK4 has dual low-light functionality employing an advanced CMOS sensor as well as infrared lamps for ultra-low lux conditions. The night-vision on this camera has a range of up to 15 metres which is ideal for security officers who work at night or in dark warehouses.

Yes, it is but it would depend on the level of damage that the device has suffered. Small issues can be repaired but damage to the mainboard or processor would be trickier to deal with.
